Hello and welcome to the Psychic Whispers Podcast. Hello, beautiful soul, and welcome back. Now, today I'm going to talk about past lives, not from a what if perspective, not from a, you know, maybe this is a thing kind of conversation, but from my own experience. You know, this is something that comes up in my work over and over again for many years in ways that don't make sense if we just look at this one lifetime. I don't sit on the fence with this. I absolutely wholeheartedly believe in past lives. And so much of what I've done in my own journey and the energy and readings that I have witnessed with other people have validated that belief for me. It's not just some nice idea, you know. I don't do that. But, you know, I've seen enough to know that there is more going on than just what we experience here. Now, that doesn't mean that I think everything is a past life, or that every person is from a past life of ours, or that every single connection that we make in this life lays into somewhere in the past. I'm a firm believer in accountability from then here and now, accountability with relationships that we have right this second in this lifetime. And that so many of our experiences come from where we're at in this moment in time. So I don't think we need to label everything, but I also don't ignore what I've seen. And I think that's the difference. You know, if you really think about it, I think most people have had moments that don't quite add up. You know, maybe you've met someone and there's just this instant connection, not just attraction, not a simple, well, we just get on, but something deeper. Like you already know them. And it's immediate, it's right away instantly. No awkward phase, no figuring each other out. Just like, ah, it's you, you know, something familiar. Like, I know you. Yeah, there you are. That kind of energy. Or maybe you've gone somewhere, you know, a place you've never been before, and it feels really familiar, not in a vague way, but in a really specific, grounded way, like you recognize it. And then there's the realm of fears, very specific fears that really don't match your life experience. Things that don't quite make sense when you try and trace them back, or you think behind you in the things that you've done and experienced. And people might say, you know, I don't know why I feel like this, but I do. And these are the kinds of things that come up in readings where something surfaces that clearly doesn't belong to this life. And you can really feel that difference. I've also seen patterns of energy, behavior, or a certain cycle in a relationship that it's almost unbreakable. It feels like, why do we keep going round and round and round? And there are readings where, you know, the revelation is that there is this past life connection, that something from that time is weighing in on right now, and we're stuck in a loop, trying to figure it out or move on from the lesson. I've seen that. And I've noted that when that energy is identified, the pattern breaks. Just like that. And I can't help but see that validation in past lives at play and things making sense in ways that aren't kooky, you know, not like, oh, well, that's a wild and crazy theory. Like, yeah, cool. Of course, of course, it's from a past life, obviously. But real healing, actual healing, going like, oh, that makes sense. Like there's just a piece of the puzzle that just doesn't connect. And suddenly it does. It just clicks, just like that. You know, I've had experiences both in my work and from my own experiences, my own journey, where things come through that feel like a memory, but they're not from this lifetime. You know, things that I have remembered that I I know 1000% were not from right now. Things that I remembered when I was quite young as well, you know, somewhere in my teens, maybe, and probably even before that, I can remember memories popping up. But things that I just was like, why? What's that? Where is that from? But there's this attachment of familiarity with it that I knew I'd experienced that myself, not something that I've just, you know, seen in a film or on TV, or there's so many ways that we can explain these things away. But I know they didn't come from that. And the emotional attachment to the memory definitely doesn't come from just something I've seen on TV, for example. It doesn't add up like that. And those memories, they're not performative, they're not even very dramatic. They actually just come across like a memory that I should have from this time. But they're really clear. Or there's parts of them that are very clear, at the very least. I don't know the context. I might not even sort of guess every facet of it, but there's an essence of something in that memory that just feels normal. And that's what I know to be like a past life or soul memory. And I've seen it with clients. I've seen it in the readings that we've done and the work that I've done with people who also have similar experiences. Just this knowledge of like, why do I keep seeing this one thing, this one memory, this one scene? I've never been there. Don't know that. Who was I then? Like, just the knowledge that there's something they can't place, or there's something that they just feel connected to so powerfully. Even if the memory of there's not a clear memory, but the energy of the draw and the connection is really clear. You know, when you experience that enough times, you stop dismissing it. At some point, you just stop trying to explain it away. And you start recognizing that there are layers to people that go beyond what we can see here. And, you know, patterns, especially in relationships, that really pull towards certain people, ones that feel intense, familiar, really hard to walk away from, even when you know they're not right for you. Those are where these things really start to show up sometimes, where we begin to kind of think beyond the box of this lifetime. And sure, there are a lot of psychological explanations for that kind of behavior. Like 100%, I'm aware that there are things that we could utilize to explain so much of that away. There's even emotional explanations. But you know, I've seen for myself that sometimes there is a deeper layer being played out, something going beyond what a psychological or emotional explanation can give. And like I said, it doesn't start here. And when we explore the work from that past life, I've seen for myself real healing with people or the ability to break a cycle that they've been stuck in because of that. It's not a magic cure. I know that it's not going to apply to every single person, but I've seen it enough times to validate that as something that I believe in. But even when we have connections that we're so intensely familiar with, you know, it doesn't mean, well, that's your soulmate, stay forever. Absolutely not. Let's be really clear about that. A soulmate does not quantify putting up with something that doesn't work, regardless of how many lifetimes we believe we might have spent with someone. We still need to lean into the here and now in this lifetime to really give it the right judgment and the right understanding. But that does mean that there are connections that carry more weight, that really support familiarity, like they've existed before. And that's so intense sometimes and often so special, but very real and very connected. You know, I'm not trying to convince anyone. I don't feel like I need to. I've experienced enough to know what I've experienced and the memories that I have of being different people, because as a psychic medium, I've explored the little snippets of information that I was getting in my memories. And I explored those things in a way that feel very real for me and the people that I feel that I was in previous incarnations of myself and my soul's journey. I've met people in my life that I feel so intensely connected to, that I believe and I have felt so deeply, I share time with beyond this lifetime. And I've met a lot of people in this work that feel the same. This is a connected belief. This is something that I feel so many of us have said, yes, I've experienced that in some form, maybe not as deeply. You know, I don't believe that everyone's got a memory of running around of being somebody else particularly. But I do feel that sometimes we have little snippets of information or little pieces of a puzzle that we're given that we explain away, or that we just think, huh, what if I sat with that a bit longer? What would I learn? What would I remember? And that's what I did. You know, I went through my memories and I remembered things, um, remembered times and energy that I've had. And I've tried not to overthink it too much and try and place it in chronological order. And that's when I think I was doing this. And I, you know, I don't need to. I have a validated memory and an experience and an essence of something, and that's enough for me. I've learned so much from my understanding of those memories. I've tried to allow them to teach me something about this time. Because here's the other thing is a psychic medium that I've learned. If you're remembering something, if your soul is connected to a place or has a physical memory that you can't place, or there's a person that has come into your journey that you feel so intensely connected to, there's a reason that you're remembering it. There's a connection from that time that links into this time. And it might be something you're struggling with, or it might be something that you're building the lesson on. It might be in a really great space. It could be something really wonderful that's happening. But I often find that they carry so many lessons for us from that lifetime to this one. And that's why we're carrying the memory in some form, or feeling drawn to the place. Like, for instance, if you just had this affinity with another country or place and thought, I need to go there. There may be something for you. There may be something about being in the space that helps you remember or helps you feel connected to something you've left that might feel a bit unfinished. And you know, I think most people can feel the difference between something that's imagined and something that lands with a sense of knowing. Even if you don't fully believe in past lives, I bet you've had moments that make you pause for a minute, that get you questioning that make you think, what is that? And some of those moments really matter. They are the little seeds of remembering something from a different time and a different part of your soul's journey. You know, one of the most extraordinary experiences that I've had with past life memories was with my eldest daughter. And when she was little and just finally able to really fully articulate herself, uh, she talked very early, but she could really carry conversations. The minute she could, she used to tell me about her other parents, the ones she said that I had before I had you, which I was just floored by. She very casually told me one night as I was making spaghetti bolognese that her other mom that she had before me used to make her this dish. And it came out really normal. Like, of course, like, don't you know? Like she looked at me and I looked at her. I said, What do you mean, your other mom? And she said, you know, the one I had before you. And it like it was normal. It was extraordinary. And for quite a good chunk of time, she used to tell me about them. You know, she was very open. I was very relaxed and I treated it like it was normal to give her that space to kind of, I guess, offload. And she gave me a lot of details, a lot of details about her life and her parents and the things that was happening to her. And not in a attention-seeking way. You know, there were times when she's like, I don't want to talk about it right now. And I was like, okay, we left it. You know, the conversation came up on her terms. And it was never given to her as some huge attention-seeking, like, oh my gosh, tell me more. Like we were really casual as much as we could be. I mean, here we were, parents going like, wow, okay, let's hear about it, the other parents, you know. But I realized how normal it was for her, which I thought was amazing. And I learned so much about her from that lifetime. And I see so much as she's gotten to be an adult, some of the things that I feel have leaned into what I imagine that time has done for her and what she's carried with her to now. You know, it taught me a lot. She taught me a lot. And it was an incredible experience. And she talked about it really for months. This spat of her life was months on end. She would just come out with all these different things. And then one day she just, she just stopped talking about it. And what I noticed was this that she seemed to have said what she needed to say and relive those memories and make some peace with that time. And then she was done. And she really leaned into this lifetime and gave it all she got. It's really common when children remember their past lives that they may do so until around the ages of five to six. And then they tend to let go of some of those memories and really just start to live in this lifetime. She was a lot younger than that when she stopped talking about it. But it really taught me and it got me really interested in the subject of past lives, having a child that really thoroughly recollected so many incredible details of her journey. And I was so grateful to be there for her to help her soul carry that to now. It was really special for me. You know, I don't think we're meant to have all the answers, but I do think we're meant to notice, to recognize patterns, to be aware of what feels familiar, what feels maybe repeated or unresolved. Because whether something comes from a past life or something else that we don't fully understand, it shows up in how we live now, in how we connect or respond. And no, I am not saying that every situation in your life is because of a past life. Let's not go down that road because we've still got to take responsibility for this one. But I do believe that there are things that we carry, things that don't start and end here. And when you've seen that enough times, you stop questioning whether it's real. You start being more interested in what it means. Not in a heavy way, not in a way that takes you, you know, out of your life, but in a way that adds depth to it. You know, at the end of the day, it isn't about proving anything. It's about recognizing that there are is more to us than what we can always explain. And being open to that without losing yourself in it. I love hearing stories of past lives and I love doing past life readings. They have been some of the highlights of my work that I've done. It's been so interesting to go back through someone's soul's journey and put some pieces together. And what I found really fascinating is the side effect of the healing that it can do for others, not just through a reading. I'm not saying a reading is the way forward for everyone, but in just giving this space in your journey and exploring this a bit to a place that allows you to put a few pieces together. That's really healing. And it can be. Now it's not a fix-all, it doesn't solve all of your problems. There's still plenty of ways in which we have to work through the here and now. You know, you I'm real. I'm very real. I don't like the airy fairy land constantly. I like I like it to be grounded. But there is some extraordinary work that can be achieved when we delve this way, if we need to. And you know what? Not everyone needs to. Lots and lots of us are walking around just in this lifetime, living and breathing what's going on right now and not really needing to connect any dots from a pastime.
